We have a 2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Convertible here at Skyway
Classics, that has the Ram Air Hood and WS6 handling package that
is recognized as a classic, with just the right look in its classic
white paint.
Mechanical
The engine in our Trans Am is the very powerful WS6 option which is
actually a Corvette's LS1 5.7-liter engine. It has the Ram Air
intake that boosted power to 320 horsepower. Everything else inside
the engine compartment looks just as it did as it left the
factory.
The WS6 suspension adds bigger sway bars, higher spring rates,
four-wheel disc brakes, a four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive, and performance tires.
Interior
The TA has tan leather bucket seats and an option list and standard
equipment a mile long including power locks, dual airbags,
anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, cruise control, keyless entry,
AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, power convertible top, air
conditioning, Rear Spoiler, leather Steering Wheel Trim, Center
Console, Power Steering, all factory gauges including a Tachometer,
power Antenna, and much more.
Exterior
Our TA is painted in the original Arctic White paint that still
looks good. It has all the T/A emblems as well as Ram Air on the
Ram Air hood scoop, blacked out folding roof and tail panel,
factory ground effects, and factory 18-inch wheels 5-spoke polished
factory wheels with black wall performance tires.
