Vehicle Description
1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 For Sale - Beautiful Rotisserie
Restoration LMC is proud to offer for sale this 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro Z28. Camaro was introduced in 1967 to attack the Mustang
success. The first-generation Camaro lasted until this 1969 model
year when it again paced the '69 Indianapolis 500. For 1969, Camaro
had all-new sheet metal except the hood and trunk lid giving the
car a substantially sportier look. The grille was redesigned with a
heavy "V" can't and deeply inset headlights. New door skins, rear
quarter panels, and rear valance panel also gave the car a much
lower, wider, more aggressive look. The wheel wells were flattened
with sculptured feature lines flowing off towards the rear of the
car and rear-slanting simulated air slots ahead of the rear wheel.
The front had a full width chrome bumper integrated with the body
color grille surround and round parking lights positioned on either
side of the license plate. At the rear were wider tail light bezels
with triple segment lenses. The interior was updated with square
gauges and an optional tachometer. Perhaps the most special and
iconic was the Z28 performance package that reflected Chevrolet's
entry in the SCCA Trans-Am race series. Z28 included a solid-lifter
302 V8, 4-Speed Manual Transmission, Power Disc Brakes, and two
wide bold stripes down the hood and decklid. The styling,
considered by many Camaro enthusiasts as the ultimate muscle car
look and arguably the most popular, would serve for the 1969 model
year only. This stunning 1969 Camaro Z28 was built in the Norwood,
Ohio plant and was shipped on October 26th, 1968. It was ordered
new at Al Reddoch Motors Ltd. in stunning code 79 Rallye Green.
Inside this beautiful Z28, is trim Code 711 Black Vinyl Bucket Seat
Interior as noted on the cowl tag which is one of the most stylish
cockpits of the muscle era. This factory Z/28 Camaro powered by a
numbers matching DZ 302 that produces 290hp at 5800 rpm. The
high-revving 302 is backed by the numbers matching M21 4-Speed Wide
Ratio Transmission with a Hurst Shifter and put to the ground with
a Code G80 Posi-traction Rear Axle having a 4.10 Ratio. Performance
is delivered to the raised white lettered Goodyear's bias-ply tires

look. Other options include power front disc brakes, tachometer
with center fuel gauge, ZL2 ducted hood, rear bumper guards, front

Recently, It has undergone a full rotisserie restoration and is in
wonderful condition. Panel fit is very nice, and the paint has been
wet sanded and polished to a show quality like luster. The
undercarriage and engine bay are finished in the correct semi-gloss
black paint with correct inspection markings and paint daubs. The
1969 Camaro Z28 was one of the greatest performance packages of the
classic muscle car era and showed what Chevrolet could create to go
racing. With its racing heritage and pedigree complete with the
bulletproof GM of Canada documentation, the Camaro Z28 will always
be one of the most desirable Camaros built. Since completion, the
car has been extremely well cared for and only a few miles since.
