Vehicle Description
This truck was purchased in 2017 from the original owner, known for
over 40 years, in New Mexico. It has all its original sheet metal,
from front to back and top to bottom. It's equipped with the
optional Flathead 239ci V8 with 90hp and a 4-speed manual Granny
Tranny. The original carburetor and fuel pump have just been
rebuilt and all cylinders have been pressure-tested for leak down
tolerances and verified they're with in manufactures specs. The
original owner rebuilt the internals on this motor about 4,000
miles ago. This pickup has an original Flathead 239ci V8 engine,
transmission, rear differential, driveshaft, drum brakes, body
panels and floorboards. All the floor panels, doors, body panels
and frame are rust-free and original to this vehicle. It was
upgraded to a 12-volt DC electrical system by the original owner.
The wiring harness has been just replaced to an upgraded modern
style multi-fused protection type. The exterior has been painted
once to the current Bumble Bee Yellow with black accents. The
original interior has been updated to the current yellow and black
as shown. The upholstery on the original bench seat has been
recovered to match the interior with a black seat with yellow
stitching accents. All the gauges are original and work. The wood
in the bed has been replaced with new knotty pine, and all bed
supports below have been replaced with the proper all-weather
pressure-treated wood. All the glass throughout the truck is
original, and the rubber weather seals have just been replaced for
all the glass areas and vent intake. The fuel tank has been
replaced with a new OEM-style tank and still has the original gas
sending unit, along with all the other original sending units in
the motor that still function properly. The shocks have been
replaced on all four wheels, along with new tires. The rear
taillights and license plate light have been upgraded to OEM-style
LEDs. A turn signal switch and emergency flashers were added by the
original owner for upgraded safety. This truck rides on aftermarket
mag-style rims and includes its original rims. It has 73,675
original miles.
