Vehicle Description
A good Mopar is always the best muscle car for the money. The lower
production numbers and unique touches always make them a hit today.
It gets even better on a 1970 Plymouth Duster that has what you
want, including a performance built 340 V8 and
four-on-the-floor.
The Duster had one of the most aggressive A-body designs. It gets
turned up a notch on this one with a full black strip package,
black bumpers, and a Rallye wheel package staggered at 14/15 inches
front/rear for a nice stance. Not only does this have a metallic
burgundy finish today, but this was also born with the
ultra-desirable Top Banana/Lemon Twist from the High Impact colors.
So if you ever decide to restore the paint, you'll love to know
that one of the boldest choices out there is also the
factory-correct one.
The interior goes for the bold, too. Those seats are certainly not
factory. They have a cool presentation with the button-top look
that's perfect for a '70s machine. Plus, the plush velour on those
high-back buckets make these all-day comfortable. And this one is
really done well for the driver. You get classic pieces like the
three-spoke steering wheel and center console with iconic pistol
grip. These combine with the upgrades like the auxiliary gauge trio
and center-mounted Bosch tach to let you know you're going to enjoy
what's under the hood.
The biggest bang for the buck was stuffing a 340 cubic-inch V8 into
a lightweight car like the Duster. This car was born with this
displacement, and it carries it with pride today. The V8 has the
clean look of power. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel
carburetor and the upgraded cam delivers added performance. Plus,
those full-length headers add even more power while contributing to
the sweet rumble of the dual exhaust. In fact, not only does this
have one of the best rumbling pipe packages in our showroom, but
also you get to fully control the tone with the four-speed manual
transmission. Out on the road this powerful Duster keeps you in
proper contact thanks to disc brakes up front and wide BF Goodrich
T/As.
This is a cool Mopar with a ferocious sound. So you know you're
