1961 Chevrolet C-10 Short Box Step Side

This vehicle has been sitting for nineteen years at a ranch in dry climate in Benton CA.

It has 92,625 original miles on it.

It had a stock six cylinder with a three speed transmission. It was converted to a later model 250 inline six with a four speed transmission.

It is great for driving around town or in the country.

The gas tank has been boiled and cleaned with a new sending float.

The original instrument dash panel does work but choose to add new accurate gauges.

Replaced:

• Left fender, door, floor plate, lower outer panel and the outer cab corner
• Right front fender corner, floor panel, and door
• Black vinyl seat and rubber floor mat (one piece)
• Glove box insides
• All wheel cylinders and slave clutch with new master cylinder
• Emergency cable and rear brake shoes
• Added a late model alternator with inside regulator.
• New tires and wheels 
• Put new universal joints and rear shocks
• If it needed it I replace it

I enjoy old trucks simple to work on but I have two more that I am working on so I need to down size for room.

This truck is about 80% done it is painted with a white primer so someone can choose their color to paint and put their style of side mirrors on the truck.

The bed has old wooden slats that can be replaced if wanted.
