Vehicle Description
1971 CHALLENGER R/T 440 SIX PACK {TRIBUTE}
While cruising to our local Saturday night cruise-in we came across
this beautiful 1971 Challenger R/T 440 Six Pack tribute car with a
for sale sign in it's window and without hesitation I approached
the owner with real interest. He told me that he bought the car
from the widow of the guy that built it a few years ago and that he
updated and improved upon a few things so he could call it his own
but has had his fun with it and that he had multiple cars and
something had to go.
Beautiful straight, solid & clean body, floors, trunk and sub-frame
that shows off it's gorgeous ''PLUM CRAZY'' 2 stage paint and
correct black vinyl top. All the chrome, trim & weather stripping
has been replaced new as well. The black bucket seat interior had
also been replaced and looks like it just rolled off the showroom
floor. Power comes from a strong running and healthy sounding
440c.i. engine that we were told was rebuilt to better then new
including it's aftermarket six pack carb set-up. It is backed by a
crisp shifting 727 torq-flight automatic transmission with pistol
grip shifter and 8-3/4 sure grip posi rear with 3:55 gears.
Other features include:
Vintage air conditioning that blows ice cold
power steering
Wilwood front disc brakes
MSD ignition system
TTI headers
Flow master exhaust with correct split tips
15'' Billet Specialties wheels
B.F.G.tires
Alpine CD stereo system with remote
lots and lots more!!
