1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS
This Pro Touring muscle car is a factory L Code vehicle and was built in Las Angelos California and its a Factory Vin number 124=factory V8 Sport Coupe Model. It has spent most all its life on the west coast. Recently restored in 2014. Now it has been professionally treated to a GM Charcoal Shadow Gray paint job. All the metal on the car is original and very nice and straight. No patch panels anywhere. The front and rear chrome bumpers are excellent along with the trim and other chrome and bezels.
The engine is a 5.7 Liter Corvette LS1 with less than 50k miles (I was told) and I believe it because it runs excellent. It’s all cooled off by a 4 core aluminum radiator. The Transmission is also set up from the Corvette as well, it’s a 4L60 Hydra-Matic Automatic Trans. It’s backed up by a 12 bolt posi rear end and 3:73 gear ratio in which is the best set up for long drives, and perfect for the Hot Rod Power Tour 2020. This Camaro is also featured with new power disc brakes and power steering. Camaro has Dual exhaust and sounds amazing.
The interior is real nice with bucket seats, center console with factory T shifter, nice door panels,dash pad,carpet and headliner. It’s been upgraded with Auto Meter white faced gauges and additional gauge package on the center console. And yes everything works as well. Added this GM 3 spoke steering wheel for the sport look. Aftermarket stereo system with speakers also installed in the lock panels to enjoy your favorite classics while cruising down the road.
All the sheetmetal is original due to the fact this is a west coast Classic vehicle, the floors and trunk are super solid. The upgraded wheels give this muscle car a gear look and stance. Has 17” American racing wheels with a great set of radial TA tires.
