Vehicle Description
This custom 1970 Chevelle convertible recently received a frame-off
restoration and only has 100 miles since completion. It is an
outstanding example of a well-executed Resto-Mod. This Pro-Touring
Chevelle was professionally restored and upgraded with a
supercharged 6.2-liter V8 LSA Chevy engine and a T56 6-speed manual
transmission mated to a custom Hurst shifter. Providing the stance
and ride quality is a modified front and independent rear
suspension. Outside, the goal was to keep the car's body lines as
close to original as possible, and this high-quality restoration
spared no expense with subtle modifications, like tightened bumpers
painted to match the body, SS badging and many premium billet
parts. It is finished with high-quality, high-gloss graphite black
metallic paint, accented by SS-style ghost stripes along the tail
and hood. Tucked behind the wheels you will see the shiny black
calipers of the Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners. The
one-of-a-kind interior features all-custom black leather SS bucket
seats with center and back consoles, Grant SS steering wheel,
Vintage Air, power windows, power top, billet pedals and
custom-fabricated leather dash with blue LED Dakota Digital gauges.
The stereo features a RetroSound head unit with built-in color LCD
display, Bluetooth/AUX/MP3 playback all powered by a Kenwood
amplifier along with Kenwood speakers. Completing the menacing look
is a set of custom 20-inch chrome Esajian Viper wheels fitted with
Lexani tires. This custom Chevelle convertible has been turned into
a modern-day classic with all the greatest technology and is
offered from the personal collection of Barrett-Jackson Executive
Vice President and General Manager Nick Cardinale.
