Vehicle Description
This factory half-ton 4X4 pickup recently received a
no-expense-spared, complete frame-off restoration, with over
$40,000 and thousands of hours invested in body, paint and metal
fabrication (as shown on the invoice included in the sale). It is
powered by an upgraded and rebuilt 454ci V8 engine with a Edelbrock
E Street package featuring aluminum heads and a Holley EFI kit. The
dyno-tested engine produces over 450hp and 528 ft/lbs of torque and
is backed by a GearStar Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission
with a 205-transfer case. The running gear is a big-hub Dana 44 in
the front and full float 14-bolt with Detroit locker in the rear.
Some upgraded features include GM Performance valve covers, Vintage
Air with a front runner pulley system, headers, custom-fabricated
exhaust, power steering and disc brakes, new steering box, WARN
hubs and all-new suspension. Each body panel was stripped to bare
metal, blocked, primed, and finished in the original Hawaiian Blue
and white. It was then wet-sanded and buffed to a mirror-like
shine. The firewall was smoothed and painted, as were the core
support and inner fenders. The chrome, trim, stainless, seals and
glass are new. The frame was acid-dipped and painted, and the
bottom of the cab was sound-deadened. The new interior features
blue houndstooth seats with new foam and seat tracks, headliner,
carpet, dash pad, seals, door panels, armrests, tilt steering
column, gauges with factory tachometer, and bezels and switches.
This custom truck has a 4-inch lift with new springs and rides on
new 35-inch BFGoodrich tires on Mickey Thompson wheels. This truck
comes with the original Build Sheet, new warranty book with
Protect-O-Plate, and Owner's Manual, and retains the original glove
