Vehicle Description
This 1959 Chevrolet 4x4 custom pickup underwent a full frame-off,
nut-and-bolt, no-expense-spared restoration. The drivetrain
features a fuel-injected 5.3-liter V8 LS engine with an aluminum
block, LS3 polished aluminum intake manifold with a 90mm throttle
body, high-performance 1650cc fuel injectors, and polished and
ported aluminum heads. The power plant is mated to a 4L60E
automatic transmission with a Stage 3 stall converter. It features
stainless-steel headers with a custom exhaust system featuring
Corvette tips. The engine is highlighted with a polished aluminum
oil pan, polished timing cover, Jones Racing power steering pump,
aluminum 3-core radiator, polished aluminum fan shroud with an
electric fan, chrome master cylinder and brake booster, and a
chrome air conditioning compressor. This pickup is outfitted with
4-wheel power disc brakes, drilled and slotted with dual-piston
calipers in the front and single-piston in the back. The exterior
is finished in a Velvet Red Candy base coat and clear coat with
Pearl highlights. The bed features oak wood stained Velvet Red,
coated with four coats of clear and then buffed. The tailgate has
billet bulletproof latches on the inside and red halo headlights
with high-output H4 bulbs. The gas tank was relocated to the rear
of the bed. The interior is finished in two-tone Peanut Butter and
Cream with a custom console, custom seat with cup holders,
Intellitronix digital gauge cluster, and a chrome tilt steering
column with billet steering wheel. This Chevy features a double-DIN
stereo, Bluetooth, backup camera, navigation, amplifiers and subs.
The pickup includes power windows, power keyless-entry door locks,
new glass, new wiring, new weatherstripping, and Vintage Air with
heat and defrost. It rides on mud terrain tires.
