This Oldsmobile 442, one of 2,933 convertibles made in 1970, has
all of its correct sheet metal and all of its original interior.
The motor, transmission and rear end are all matching numbers.
Powered by a 455/365hp V8 engine, the car includes a Turbo 400
3-speed automatic transmission, a 12-bolt 3.23 posi-traction rear
end from the factory and a W-25 Ram Air induction hood. The
original color is Sebring Yellow, which was a special-order color,
Code 51. The recipient of a full frame-off restoration, this 442's
floors are painted with the same overspray as when it came from the
factory, as well as painted-on factory inspection marks. Loaded
with many options, including air conditioning, power steering,
power brakes, bucket seats with console, power driver's seat, power
windows, deluxe seat belts, sport mirrors, Rally gauges and a
rim-blow steering wheel (Code N42). It rides on the
original-colored 14-inch SSII rims wrapped in correct Goodyear
Polyglas tires.
