Vehicle Description
This custom Dodge 2-door sedan received a 4,000-hour ground-up,
frame-off build. Power comes from a 4-bolt main 405ci V8
small-block Chevrolet engine disguised as a Mopar power plant, with
Mopar valve covers. The engine features a mild Lunati camshaft,
Edelbrock manifold, Holly carburetor, Mallory distributor and
headers, and is cooled by a Walker radiator. Gears are shifted
through a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission fed to a
Toyota pickup rear end with 3:41 ratio. Sound is regulated through
Flowmaster Delta 50 mufflers. The front suspension is Mustang II
with disc brakes. It features Ron Francis wiring, and remote door
openers are from Watson StreetWorks. More than 15 body
modifications, including a chopped top, grace the exterior of this
custom sedan, which is finished in metallic red and silver with
DuPont base coat/clear coat. The gray and red interior features
front bucket seats with custom console, Classic Instruments gauges,
Classic Auto air conditioning, Global Electric cruise control,
Kenwood stereo, Lecarra Mark 10 steering wheel on a tilt column,
front and rear 3-point seat belts, and front and rear power
windows. This Dodge has a 21-gallon custom fuel tank and rides on
American Racing wheels with BFGoodrich Traction T/A tires. It was
selected for the 2008 Route 66 calendar and appeared in Street
Rodder magazine.
