Vehicle Description
This Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt re-creation features a race-prepared
429ci Cobra Jet V8 engine with 12.5:1 compression, Weiand intake,
Barry Grant-prepared Holley 750 carburetor, MSD ignition and
distributor. The engine is mated to a 3-speed automatic
transmission, Richmond 9-inch rear end with 3.89:1 gears, and Moser
rear axles. This Ford features headers and dual electric exhaust
cutouts. The engine is kept cool with a Tri-Flow radiator and
Perma-Cool electric fan. It includes front disc brakes with a
Wilwood master cylinder, Canton 8-quart oil pan, aluminum fuel
cell, 200-amp alternator, roll cage and ARP fasteners. The body is
finished in Wimbledon White, with a silver flake-painted roof with
12 coats of clear and a fiberglass hood. The black interior has a
B&M Pro shifter and a custom sound system. It rides on WELD
