This is one of 191 Chrysler 300D convertibles manufactured in 1958.
It is powered by a 392/380hp V8 HEMI engine and a push-button
3-speed TorqueFlite transmission. The engine features a pair of
4-barrel carburetors, solid lifters, intake manifold and a
dual-point distributor. This was the final year of the original
Chrysler Firepower HEMI engine. Factory Ermine paint, black top and
correct beige leather interior. The interior features the stock
radio upgraded to modern AM/FM internals with auxiliary input, as
well as a 150 mph speedometer. One of the fastest cars of its day,
given its speed (156 mph at Bonneville), and a $4,600+ sticker
price. Documented, original, matching-numbers car that includes the
original sales invoice. This Chrysler has 700 miles since an
extensive frame-off, rotisserie restoration completed in 2015. **
