Vehicle Description
This custom K5 4x4 Blazer recently received a no-expense-spared,
complete frame-off restoration with every nut-and-bolt disassembled
and replaced or restored. The exterior panels were completely
stripped to bare metal by way of acid-dipping and then blocked,
primed and finished in Hugger Orange and white, with many coats of
House of Kolor clear. It was then wet-sanded and buffed to a
mirror-like shine. The engine bay has a smoothed firewall and
painted inner fenders. The Blazer is powered by a new GM
Performance LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine backed by a 3-speed automatic
transmission with a 205 transfer case. All the chrome, trim,
stainless, seals and glass are new. The frame was sand-blasted and
powder-coated, and the bottom of the cab was Raptor-lined. Both the
front and rear ends are completely rebuilt. Upgraded features
include GM Performance valve covers, Vintage Air, headers, power
steering, power disc brakes, new steering box, WARN hubs and
all-new suspension. The new interior features houndstooth seats
with new foam and seat tracks, new headliner, seals, new dash pad,
carpet, door panels and armrests, new tilt steering column, new
gauges with factory tachometer, and all new bezels and switches.
The custom K5 has a 4-inch lift and rides on new 35-inch BFGoodrich
tires with Mickey Thompson wheels. The Blazer also comes with the
completely restored hardtop finished in white. Over $50,000 in
paint and body invoices.
