Vehicle Description
Cruisin' Classics is proud to present to you this rare beauty that
is a 1951 Chrysler New Yorker convertible. This stunning piece of
automotive history has a massive 331 Hemi under the hood, backed by
a fluid-torque drive transmission. If you have never driven one of
these, they are quite unique. They have a Safety Clutch, which you
use to change from neutral to reverse or neutral to forward gear.
You can then start the car off like you would a manual, and then
come to a stop while in gear without using the clutch. They are
very fun to drive and actually have more power than you would
expect from any 1951. The convertible top is Power, and functions
as it should. All windows roll down with ease. The paint and chrome
are both driver quality but very presentable. Let's dive a little
further into this beauty. The odometer reads 70,293 miles.ENGINE331

candidate to be taken to the next level or enjoyed as it sits. It
has older single stage paint, that is a good driver quality. The
interior appears that it has been restored and is in great
condition. The New Yorker is full of class as well as power. In
1951, one was used as a pace car for the Indianapolis 500. This
would be a good entry level car for one looking for a clean and
solid New Yorker without spending $75,000. It runs excellent, and
drives just as good as it looks. If you have any additional
