1968 Plymouth Road Runner Pro Touring Tribute. This is a beautiful
1968 Plymouth Sports Satellite, original California car that the
current owner has had for 23 years! This car has zero rust,
original sheet metal, including trunk floor, quarter panel, and
interior floor panel. Car has had a body up restoration that has
taken 3-years to build. Body was perfect before starting the
buildup, every panel perfectly prepped before painting in deep,
rich metallic blue paint. 1969, 440 HP block, 440 over, with a mild
Cam, and a Holley 850 double pumper, serpentine belt set-up, hidden
Vintage air conditioning, custom built radiator, and motor is
pushing over 600 HP. Transmission is a custom built 727 from A & A
Transmissions. It's a 3-speed reverse valve body, with a manual
stall. Custom built Hurst shifter. Car has custom ceramic coated
TTI headers and exhaust system. Rear End is a 8 3/4 391 Posi rear
end. Wheels are custom American racing, modern M, 18x10 in the
rear, and 17x8 in front ( also comes with an extra pair of wheels).
Tires are 295/40/18 and 245/40/17 in the front. Suspension: Custom
front protouring front suspension and a 5-link rear end, with a
motor plate, and 2-inch drop spindles. Hot Rod Service Co. In
Campbell, to improve ride for modern day driver! All wheels have
QA1 coil over, adjustable shocks. Brake: Front has wheel wood,
4-piston calipers, and 14' rotors. The rear has 2-piston calipers,
and 14' rotors. Paint: 2-stage solvent BASF B-5 Blue, with four
coats of clear. Original bumpers have been re-chromed, and all
stainless has been re-polished and a 1969 grill added for extra
flare.. Interior: Original seats have been reupholstered with
custom double stitched vinyl. Custom gauges, IPod dock, with two
sub-woofers. He has owned this vehicle for 23-years! This is a
beautifully maintained, turn-key Hot Rod. Have spent nearly $140k
on this car, and have receipts to show it. Owner has only used the
best quality materials and parts for this build.
