This is a real car. #s match motor, trans, rear and colors. Same
owner the last 15 years, kept in climate control environment.
EXTERIOR: Very desirable factory Fathom blue car. It appears to
have clean original metal. Older paint job shows very well but has
some imperfections. No rust but has some touch ups. Stripes are
painted correctly. Has very desirable and functional cowl induction
hood. The flapper door works, believe it or not it let's in more
are then the big scoops you see on other cars. The bumpers still
look new. Has correct T-3 headlights, rarely seen stainless trim
below the headlight bezels and SS pad on back bumper. The wheels
are correct two tone gray, most people incorrectly paint them back
and silver. Black convertible top is in excellent condition.
INTERIOR: Very nice. The upholstery, carpet, door panels are very
good. Dash area is excellent. Not cracked or cut. Has factory gauge
package including tachometer. The clock is ticking! Also has
factory Am-Fm radio. The sport wheel is on a tilt column. Has bench
seat so can sit close to your sweetie. Has original seat belts
front and back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It was restored to factory condition. Has
original vin # matched 396-350 hp motor. Correct manifolds, chrome
valve covers, plug wires, GM hoses and clamps. Still has actuator
on intake for carb. The cowl induction system is complete and
functional. Wiper motor looks new, brake booster is cadmium plated.
It even has low windshield washer monitor. Everything is painted
neatly.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The metal looks completely solid. I inspected
the 1/4s and found no splices, appears to be factory panels. There
is a mat, SS wheel for a spare and complete jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: Honest original underside. The metal looks solid and
original. No rot or patches, even the lower rear inner 1/4s are
clean. Bottom of the motor is still fresh Chevy orange. Starter and
fuel pump look new. Has vin # matched turbo 400 automatic
transmission. Has original # correct 3.31 12 bolt posi rear. It
also has F-41 suspension which includes sway bars and boxed control
arms. Has stainless exhaust system with correct cow bell tips. Fuel
tank and sending unit was replaced.
This strikes me as an honest car. I firmly believe it is a real SS
with it's born with driveline. Not perfect but a good looking, very
desirable investment car.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure

a walk around video that explains the car's condition in
detail.
