Vehicle Description
This is rolling nostalgia. The 1986 Ford LTD Crown Victoria was
part of that popular generation where you or a family member
cherished this full-size sedan. Since this highly-original,
well-documented, and loaded car is so affordable, you can return to
that time with ease.
The white paint is believed to be original, and it has the right
amount of age in it to let people know this one is a survivor. The
white is also a nice backdrop for the coordinated blue of the
pinstripe and vinyl roof. And the included reproduction window
sticker will show you this was a highly-optioned sedan. That's also
why it has such a regal amount of brightwork, including the
bumpers, mirror-like rocker trim, special Crown Vic
badging/ornament, and brightwork that surrounds every piece of
glass. And we especially love those wire wheel covers on this
cruising classic. If you're wondering how a car like this can
survive the decades and still be so complete, part of the answer is
also in the window sticker. This was sold brand new less than an
hour from our showroom!
The dark blue accents of the exterior are also a nice preview of
the interior. The velour is extra comfy, and full-sized luxury
means you can choose to seat six or fold down the armrests in both
rows to give four people individual pillow-tufted comfort. This
sedan is built to keep the driver comfortably in control. That's
why you have a power adjusting seat and all the essential
components are within easy reach: everything from the factory air
conditioning to the cruise control on the steering wheel. Plus,
it's loaded with all the best features like power windows, power
locks, tilt steering column, rear defrost, and the original
AM/FM/cassette stereo set in the wood-like trim of the dash.
This is a premium Ford product from the '80s, and so you know
there's a 5.0-liter V8 under the hood. But while the fuel-injected
motor was earning a street-eating reputation in the Mustang, this
is quite a different setup. It utilizes its powerful and torquey
heart in a more refined way. So no rumbling burnouts here, but you
do get to be the first to pull away for the stoplight any time you
want. In fact, good maintenance on what's believed to be the
original motor keeps this a dignified luxury machine today. Plus,
it has power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and a
four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive.
So it's the kind of classic luxury that can still easily take you
in comfort on the long road trips.
The sale comes complete with the title documentation, reproduction
window sticker, and maintenance records. It's a very cool survivor
that we don't get to see very often. So if you like to drive
something unique, and do it in comfort, don't miss this deal. Call
