Mopar Fans are in the pony car fight strong with this smaller and
faster 1972 Plymouth 'cuda 340. Finished in the correct FY1 Lemon
Twist hue, with black vinyl roof, stripes and interior, this is a
truly striking car! This car comes with two fender tags and what is
believed to be a numbers matching engine, with one unusual twist...
in the photos you will see the first two digits of the sequence
number are transposed on the engine stamp. We'll let the buyer do
the research, but this looks like an assembly line mistake to us.
Knowing that a 910000 sequence didn't exist the matching 190000
sequence is to be understood where the human error was made when
setting the block stamp numbers. (As the stamp was always read
upside down to the stamper)
That makes this True 1972 'Cuda a little more special to us. This
one is a pleasure to drive. While making good power it also handles
great. While showing to have a full repaint a few years ago, she
still shines well and stands out in the crowd. The paint finish is
of great driver quality, and as you see in the photos, a couple of
small bubble spots that have developed. Otherwise, the car presents
beautifully and looks close to a fresh restoration. The interior
seats, dash, doors and carpets are all in excellent condition.
Power steering, brakes and factory air conditioning make driving
fun!
