Vehicle Description
1985 GMC HERRY CAROSELLI RODSTER
Why This Car Is Special
The award-winning Rodster Street Rod conversion we have at Skyway
Classics is a kit car that uses a modern 1985 GMC as the starting
point. It was fun to build, easy to keep running, and all-around
cool to own.
Mechanical
Our roadster is powered by a Chevrolet 350 cubic inch V8 that packs
plenty of power thru its headers and throaty mufflers and back to
the 10-bolt rear end to propel this lightweight Rodster down the
road.
The kit lowers the ride-height 3 inches in keeping with the street
rod looks with lowering shocks and Futura Super Sport tires om
body-color painted wheels highlighted with beauty rings and chrome
shallow-moon hubcaps. It has all the power options you would expect
on the original 1985 GMC.
Interior
The interior is mostly stock with blue vinyl bucket seats and cloth
inserts, standard dash and instrument panel, grey carpet with blue
piping, and stock door panels. Typical rod icons to the cockpit
include a tach, sport steering wheel, and a custom stereo.
Exterior
The exterior of or Rodster consists primarily of a one-piece front
clip, rear clip, rocker panels, quarter-panels, and trunk lid all
painted in blue with white and orange flames. A 1940 Ford
reproduction grille and nose peak is uniquely styled to fit the
components while still offering something incredibly distinct.
That front clip is a flip-forward piece, which allows great access
to the engine. It is also quickly removable for those times when
additional space in the engine bay is needed.
Conclusion
The award-winning Rodster Street Rod conversion we have at Skyway
Classics is a crowd-pleasing kit car. You can make our Rodster
Street Rod an enjoyable ride and experience for many years to
