Vehicle Description
The Prowler was built from 1997-2002. It was a retro-styled
production car that was based on a 1993 concept car and only a
total of 11,702 cars were built with only 1900 being produced in
Black. The design and history is as cool as the car. Chrysler
engineers were given free rein to design whatever they wanted in a
"Hot-Rod' inspired vehicle. And in fact, early influence is
credited to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, that
resulted in a thesis by the young Douglas "Chip" Foose that
included drawings of the retro-roadster. Obviously there is nothing
on the road that was a production vehicle to date that looks like
the Prowler. This particular stunning example is a one-owner car
with just over 21,000 miles from new that has the more powerful
aluminum-block engine that put out another 40 HP over the original
engine. This car has always been properly stored with excellent
service and been lovingly cared for. The exterior and interior
still show like new and is ready to go. It has received a upgraded
cat-back exhaust at the dealer that sounds tremendous. It goes down
the road exactly like you would expect with no issues and
everything in working order.
