1964 FORD GALAXIE 500 FULL CUSTOM ---new tires, battery, hi flow water pump, 2 outside rear view mirrors, edelbrock electric fuel pump, Vintage Air.Featured on the COVER of the March 2007 issue of Rod & Custom Magazine, with a 4 page color spread feature article inside. Lots of the details of the build can be found in that article. . It is a no worry civilized cruiser that is reliable enough to go as far as you like. The bottom of the car is rust free, The trunk pan has some rust. All the panels throughout the car are rust free. All the panels are hand formed, including trunk, doors, hood, quarter panels, etc. There is over 100 man hours per side on just the spears. The custom work is incredible. The headlights are 1952-1954 FordThe grill is custom made stainless steel rod.The front lip of the hood is hand made and extended 4 inches. The side spears are extended into the quarter panels ( Stock stops middle of door)The rear tail lights are 2004 ThunderBird lenses.The interior is 1969 Ford Thunderbird. Note the wrap-a-round rear seat. New black carpet .The roof has ten coats of pearl metal flake with clear coat. House of Kolor.The body is also painted a blend of House of Kolor candy apple ( Lime Time CANDY APPLE Green ) with translucent gold top coat. recently won best paint at a local show. no longer considered a show car but it shows well & has trophied 9 out of 10 times shown. People just LOVE this car !!!The car has all new front suspension. The alternator is new. The AC system is new Vintage Air Sept 2018 connected to the original Ford under dash unit .The rear suspension is on air shocks. The lake pipes are not functional. The dual exhaust exits through the rear and sounds excellent. It has headers but is not too loud . Stock 390 V8 motor with a new Edelbrock carb, new HEI distributor and wires, new aluminum radiator, new hi volume water pump, auxiliary fans, etc. Needs nothing but a new driver. Power steering .Power disc brakes (front) .Ford O Matic 3 speed automatic transmission shifts flawlessly.Power locks (poppers for the doors and the trunk on a key fob) .All the lights work and the horn works . Exterior chrome is very good .All the windows are excellent and tintedWindow & door rubbers are new .The paint is excellent . 13 yrs Old But still grabs attention .Real Astro Supreme wheels and New white wall tires.Buyer should have no reservations about driving this car from coast to coast if you wish.
