1973 Cougar Convertible Restored and owned by current owner for 28
years. Base clearcoat paint and all chrome bumpers and trim
re-chromed when painted. Bottom or car and all of interior metal
was painted when restored and still looks very good. This is a very
nice driver car that starts, runs and drives as it should and ready
to drive anywhere. Selling because another convertible was just
restored. Very good street engine with good idle using a balanced
351C with 2bbl Aussie heads, Hyd Roller cam, Harland Sharp roller
rockers, Edelbrock Air Gap intake manifold, 4 barrel Holley 600 CFM
vacuum secondaries, electronic ignition with vacuum advance. Cooled
by an extra large industrial radiator core that keeps engine
running at proper temp in all situations. FMX trans 2100 stall
converter (just over stock) Aux trans cooler, 9" rear with 3.25
gears and posi. Power steering and brakes. AC with updated Sanden
compressor and R134a coolant (works). Fays2 Watts link in rear
suspension for greatly improved handling with a smooth ride,
updated front sway bar, KYB shocks, and updated front and rear
springs. Disc front drum rear brakes Headers, Dual exhaust with
cross over pipe nice exhaust sound but not to loud Leather
interior, power windows, no cracks in dash pad, new carpet, and
black Robbins canvas top with no rips or tears with rear glass
window. AM / FM / CD radio with Aux input 14" rims with 235/60R14
