For Sale: 1934 Oldsmobile Street Rod in Concord, North Carolina
This 1934 Oldsmobile Six Touring Salon is a fully restored
streetrod with a broad range mechanical and cosmetic enhancements.
Work was meticulously completed in 2009 and the craftsmanship is
outstanding. The enormous body was carefully prepped and
professionally sprayed in beautiful Deep Burgundy. Suicide doors
operate perfectly, chrome (including the 'Flying Goddess' hood
ornament) is virtually flawless and a rear-mount spare sits behind
the classic rear 'hump'. Moving inside, the custom Burgundy cloth
interior is top-shelf - nothing was left to chance. A tilt column
mounts an Olds Cutlass 'S' wheel and a cherry wood dash holds a set
of Classic Instrument vintage gauges. There is a Pioneer AM/FM/CD
stereo system and the air conditioning system is fully functional.
Gone is the factory 206ci flathead six engine (F code) and 3-speed
manual transmission. Power is now provided by a rebuilt 350ci Chevy
small-block fitted with hi-rise aluminum intake, dual-feed Holley
and Chevy 'rams-horn' exhaust. The transmission is a GM 350
Turbohydramatic and suspension upgrades include power steering and
power disc/drum brakes. Progressive custom alloys (14'f/15"r) mount
radial tires with excellent tread remaining. All said, this Olds is
an elegant, practical streetrod that will deliver comfortable fun
and provide a significant upgrade to your garage. Look at the
photos again - this is a very, very nice piece. ALL VEHICLES SOLD
"AS IS".
