1957 Chevrolet Nomad Resto-mod
A complete body-off restoration was done 4 years ago to this “show ready” vehicle. The workmanship is top quality and it is obvious no expense was spared during this build. Although this resto-mod looks original, it has an upgraded drive train, suspension, etc…. Powered by a 502 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 crate motor that produces 425 horsepower @4400 RPM and equipped with fuel injection and performance manifolds and General Motors valve covers. Three-speed automatic transmission with 9” rear Ford differential with Moser axles. The exhaust system consists of coated headers, 3” exhaust pipes, chrome performance mufflers and dual 3” stainless tailpipes that exit under the rear quarter panels. All the suspension has been refurbished with new shocks and steering linkage, the steering box, control arms, and front springs have been chrome- plated. A complete four-wheel disc brake system has been installed for superior stopping power. Other niceties include air conditioning, power windows, custom am/fm radio/cd. The paint has been cut and polished and the lustre and color depth of the finish is excellent. The interior of this vehicle has been completely redone in red leather and shows very well. The Dash, headliner, door panels, carpet, window frames, everything has been redone and is in A-1 condition. This one is an excellent example of a resto-mod build that will produce thumbs-up responses from onlookers and put a smile on the owners face every time he goes for a cruise. Price $79000 USD
