This is a super rare Ford Galaxie 500 convertible!!!! It is 1 of 7
made, per the Marti Report, with the 429cu in 4-barrel motor and a
factory 4-speed manual transmission!!! It has 46k actual miles!!!
We have owned the car for almost 15 years and have always intended
to do a ground-up restoration on it. We have decided to let it go
to someone else to bring it back to it's original glory. This rare
Galaxie convertible was built on July 17, 1969 at the Wayne plant
and was sold new by Wayne Loveladys Frontier Ford in Albuquerque,
New Mexico. It is a really solid car and has very little
consequential rust on it's body or frame. It actually starts up,
runs, drives and brakes pretty nicely! It was originally Candy
Apple red with a red vinyl bench seat interior and a white power
convertible top. It was also ordered new with the white power
convertible top with a glass rear window, visibility group, white
sidewall tires, power front disc brakes, AM radio and wheel covers.
It has it's all original drivetrain including the 3.25 conventional
rear axle, 4-speed wide ratio manual transmission and the 428 cu in
4v motor! This is a great opportunity to own a very rare big block
Ford convertible and enjoy the process of bringing it back to
life!!!
