This 1971 Jaguar XJ6 is a European-spec example that was sold new
to an American stationed in Germany and later imported by its
original owner to Michigan, where it remained until the seller's
acquisition earlier this year. The car is finished in blue over tan
leather and powered by a replacement 4.2-liter inline-six mated to
a three-speed automatic transmission. Service under previous
ownership is said to have included replacing the gas tanks and fuel
pumps as well as converting the ignition system to an electronic
setup. The fluids have been changed by the seller. This XJ6 is now
offered at no reserve with the original purchase paperwork, factory
literature, an owner's manual, a tool kit, some service records,
spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller's name.
