GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1946 Ford Pick up for
consideration. Known as the predecessor to the F1, Civilian truck
production ceased during WWII and was re-introduced again in 1946
ad the "New Ford Pick up" while in reality the trucks remained
largely the same as pre-war production.
The all steel'46 pickup offered here is powered by a Chevy 350 v8
paired with a 350 turbo automatic transmission with a Lokar
shifter. The truck roars to life with the turn of a key and handles
very well. The Harley Davidson theme throughout the truck shows
well. Highlights include power steering, front disc brakes, Mustang
II front end, Chevy rear end, Flowmaster dual exhaust, Mild Cam,
Edelbrock intake with a Holley Carburetor, Electric Aluminum
tonneau cover, electric cooling fan, headers, air ride suspension
that is slammed/dropped, Vintage air conditioning.
Vintage trucks are hot right now and quality usable examples such
as this are in high demand. It will not last long on our floor at
this price.
