Vehicle Description
This 1983 Jeep CJ7 Renegade is a very clean and original Survivor
from the State of California. Rust Free Jeeps with original paint
and Original metal like this are very rare and hard to find. From
what we can see this is both. The paint, decals and metal all look
original....a very cool find. This Jeep also has some nice
modifications and it runs and drives great!!! The body is in
excellent original condition with some nice patina on it which is
really cool. There are no rust issues with this Jeep and the
underside is also really really clean. You can still see original
paint in the wheel wells. The interior is pretty basic and they had
the floors rhino lined at some point for ease of cleanup and
longevity. It has aftermarket front and rear seats, Factory Roll
Bar, and all of the lights and gauges are working. It has a cool
Vintage Style Warn 8274 Winch, a Hi-Lift Jack mounted on the hood,
and bigger wheels and tires. It also comes with Bikini Top and Soft
Doors.
Mechanically this Jeep is solid. It runs and drives great and the
last owner kept it mechanically sound. The body has a lot of miles
on it, but according to him the engine is rebuilt (it does have a
rebuild tag on it), but no receipts. The engine starts easily and
holds great oil pressure. As stated earlier it runs great! They
also added Mopar Performance Fuel Injection to it as well which is
really nice yo have. It has a 5 Speed Manual Transmission, DANA 20
Rear Axle and DANA 30 Front Axle. It also has a newer 4 Inch Spring
Lift with HD Shackles, new shocks, new stainless brake lines, and
newer wheels and tires. Tires are 33 X 12.50 X 15.
