2005 CHEVROLET SSR CONVERTIBLE HARDTOP PICKUP STK #: 1288 The
Chevrolet SSR (Super Sport Roadster) is a retractable hardtop
convertible pickup truck manufactured by Chevrolet between 2003 and
2006. The SSR's "retro" styled design was inspired by Chevrolet's
late-1940s Advance Design trucks, in particular the 1947-1955
pickups. The vehicle rode on a GM368 platform specific to it, a
version of the period's highly adaptable GMT360, and featured a
steel body retractable hardtop designed by Karmann and built by
ASC. The body of the truck, namely the front fenders, were made
with deep draw stampings, a forming technique that had not been
used in automotive stampings in decades, and required a
"relearning" of the forming technique. The production model was
based on the SuperSport Roadster concept car shown at the 2000
Detroit Auto Show. An early-production SSR was the pace car for the
2003 Indianapolis 500 auto race. Presented here is a 2005 Chevrolet
SSR Convertible Pickup in excellent condition with under 38,000
miles! Powered by the upgraded for 2005 6.0L LS2 V-8 Engine, this
puppy screams down the road in style with the chrome tip dual
exhaust. Convertible hardtop up, or down and cleanly concealed, you

Equipped with the 4-Speed Transmission, you don't have to worry
about clutching and shifting. We were told this vehicle was stored
in as temperature controlled facility most of it's life. The
factory exterior color of Bermuda Blue Metallic paint glistens on
this vehicle. The interior is laid out in luxurious yet sporty
black leather. Creature comforts include: Air Conditioning, Heat,
Power door locks, keyless remote entry, power windows, AM/FM/6-Disc
CD Changer, XM Satellite radio device (subscription required), dual
power adjustable bucket seats, dual seat heaters, Bose Premium
Sound System, and factory optioned running boards. Some standard
features include: power steering and 4 wheel disc power brakes. The
bed is securely protected by the factory locking tonneau cover
