This 1989 BMW R100GS was purchased new at Lindner Cycle Shop in New
Canaan, Connecticut, and is powered by a 980cc opposed twin coupled
to a 5-speed transmission with shaft drive. The bike is believed to
have been ridden until 1991 before being placed in storage, where
it remained until the selling dealer's recent acquisition. A
subsequent mechanical refreshment was performed with an engine and
driveline re-seal, carburetor and brake rebuilds, and new tires.
This R100GS is now offered by the selling dealer with with a BMW
Group archive certificate, a factory tool kit, and a clean Indiana
