Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this survivor 1989 Mustang GT which is in fantastic original condition with low actual miles of 62,719 Actual miles. This Mustang GT was owed by one woman from 1990 until the Fall of 2019 and only 3 owners from new. This Mustang features very nice original black paint, an original very rare Sand Beige interior, several dealer books and manuals, and the original drive line. This Mustang is absolutely solid and has no visible rust anywhere around the car or under the car, and is very solid with great lines and gaps. This Mustang is finished in the beautiful and very rare color combinations of Black over Sand Beige cloth interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim label pictured above. The low mileage is not only validated by the original condition of this Mustang but also by the Ohio title pictured below stating the mileage as "Actual." Also an included carfax showing multiple accounts of mileage. Recent maintenance includes four new tires, new spark plugs and wires, and new valve cover and intake gaskets.
Exterior
The Black exterior is in awesome original stock condition. This Mustang has all original paint and emblems and cladding. The paint is in great condition for its age and there are no signs of visible rust anywhere around the car or under the car. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on the car and no cracked paint anywhere on the car. The paint has an incredible gloss and shine and is smooth to the touch. Both bumpers are in excellent shape with no flaking paint or fading. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires were just replaced and have less than 500 miles on them and the OEM wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash. All weather stripping and window sweeps are original and in good condition. The trunk is very solid and in great shape with the spare tire and jack. The top cover has never been installed until 10/24/2019 when I put it on. The top cover storage bag looks brand new and comes with the car. The underside of this Mustang is very honest and extremely solid and rust free, and has not had any touch ups. There are several factory tags and paint dobs around the underside of this Mustang showing originality. All glass is in excellent shape. The tan top is original and works as it should and goes up and down freely without issue.
Interior
The very rare Sand Beige cloth interior of this Mustang is original and in superb condition. Sand Beige interior on a 1989 GT is a very rare interior color and seldom seen. Its not only unique but a gorgeous color which compliments the exterior black paint. The cloth seat covers are factory originals and in excellent condition for their age and being cloth and show no major signs of wear. The carpet is original and looks great with no stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no fading and the gauges are crisp and clear. The factory stereo works properly and sounds great. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The original fog lights work great and look excellent on the car. Everything works great on this GT including all gauges, all lights, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, turn signals, horn, stereo blower motor, wipers, etc. The factory AC system is all in tact and works well and blows cold air.
The lumbar supports works properly on both seats. An Alpine alarm system was installed in the early 1990's but is not currently being used but could be.
Mechanical
This Mustang is in excellent mechanical condition with only 62,719 actual miles on the original drive line and drives like new. We have driven this Mustang numerous times and it drives like new and shifts easily through all gears without issue. The brakes work as they should, car steers as it should, and the car shifts as it should. I noticed no issues or items needing repaired or addressed. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The engine is clean and appears to be in stock condition. The exhaust is factory original and still in excellent condition and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds and has a nice rumble. The spark plugs and wires were just replaced as were both valve cover gaskets and the intake gasket. There are factory markings, tags, paint dobs in factory places on the car as noted in the photos. This Mustang has been loved and meticulously cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of this car and the way it runs and drives validates that. The outstanding originality of this Mustang and the way it drives is a true testament to prior owners care and love for this special Mustang. The second owner has this Mustang for over 29 years and this Mustang has always been garaged.
