1970 was an important year for General Motors/Oldsmobile. The removal of engine size restrictions caused and allowed for Oldsmobile to make the 455 V8 standard. Here is a fine example of what the carmaker intended to accomplish.
As can be seen from the pictures, this car has been the subject of frame on restoration. There is nothing about the car that needs to be repaired or replaced. The engine and transmission were removed from the car, rebuilt and repainted. The car starts and drives like a dream. With the monster torque and horsepower, driving this car is always a thrill.
