1968 AMC Rebel SST Convertible with a 290 V8, Automatic
transmission, power steering, power brakes, factory air
conditioning and power top. This is an original AZ Car and
basically original owner he bought in 1968 with 8,000 miles on it
from Hertz in California. Certa plate and title in his name he
recently passed away. Even the original bill of sale is in the
pictures he has kept a copy of every receipt ever spent on this car
and every year of Rregistration in AZ all in package in trunk. The
290 runs perfect and so does transmission receipts are in pile as
to when they were rebuilt also. This is a very rare Convertible
only 877 SST models were made that year. 1968 was the last year of
the Convertible. More rare power steering, power brakes and power
top. The body is in great condition and only one small spot of rust
the size of dollar coin. The car runs and drives nice but does need
restoration and for its rarity should be done right body drive-line
as in engine and transmission great and complete ac belt is not on
it but pump is not seized interior is OK and rag top in not bad
condition. This car needs very little to drive anywhere the
odometer does not work but speedometer does. Please Note The
