Your eyes aren't deceiving you, it really is a second generation
Escalade pickup! Over 600 hours were spent on the custom conversion
to make this one of a kind Cadillac. This Escalade pickup was an
idea that our client had, since Cadillac did not produce a pickup
version of the Escalade in this generation. He loves cars, and
loves to have unique vehicles so why not have a custom Escalade
built? Inside this custom truck, is the standard luxury interior
that you would expect to find in an Escalade. Heated steering
wheel, heated and ventilated leather seats, heads up display, moon
roof, navigation, XM Radio, rear climate control, are just a few of
the options in this Escalade. Captain's Chairs were left in what is
now the back seat rather than a bench, making this truck a 4
seater. The notable part of this Escalade is the exterior and the
custom work completed. Nearly 700 hours were spent transforming
this Escalade into an Escalade pickup.The first thing that catches
your eye is the custom two tone paint with an orange pinstripe
breaking up the pearl metallic white and gray metallic. The
finished product is impressive and well thought out. The same lines
aft of the back window area as the first generation Escalade ESV
were followed when creating this truck, so at first glance, other
than the custom paint, this Escalade doesn't look out of the
ordinary. The 'bumps' you see at the lower part of the tailgate
conceal the hinges that were added to the trimmed and re-fitted
stock hatch. The long vertical tail lights of the original Escalade
were trimmed to about half the normal size to fit the new height of
the rear fenders. A smooth tonneau cover with hydraulic assist
makes the bed a separate cargo area complete with a bed liner. A
Lexani grille and 22 Polo wheels finish off the exterior look of
this custom. Under the hood is the standard 6.2L V8 pumping out 420
horsepower mated to the standard automatic transmission. If you're
on the hunt for a really unique vehicle that as far as we know is
the only one like it, this Escalade is one to consider. It's a
modern vehicle with all the current luxury options and then some!
