1927 Ford T-Bucket
The current owner knew the previous owner of this car for years and had seen the car sitting in pieces for years. Just recently, in looking for a quick project, he approached his buddy and and said, "Hey, let me buy that old T-Bucket from you, I want to finish it and get her on the road". The friend obliged and sold him the car. Over the last several months he's put all the pieces together, added some of his own and got her finished and out on the road.
Fiberglass body, air ride, Chevy 305 V8 from an 86 Corvette (he seems to remember less than 100K miles on the engine), Chevy 10 Bolt rear, TH350 Auto transmission that was just rebuilt with a shift kit, Mickey Thompson big and littles wrapped around unpolished aluminum rims for that old school magnesium appearance, power brakes with discs up front and drums in the rear, traditional steer inverted leaf front suspension, LED running, brake and tail lights, Halogen headlights, 62 Harley Davidson turn signals and 4 bbl Edelbrock carb and manifold set up with black, ribbed valve covers and black bug catcher style intake.
The car has a CT VIN and recent VIN verification, is registered in CT and ready to hop in and drive.
There are some blemishes in the deep purple metallic paint but the sound of the baffled side pipes totally distracts anyone looking that close...
