Vehicle Description
This 1970 Dodge Charger restomod is an awesome build with pure
power in mind. It's a mix of vintage and custom work wrapped in
slick paint, a bucket seat interior, upgraded five-speed,
four-wheel disc brakes, and a monster dual-quad 528 HEMI V8 under
the hood. So this coupe is the product of when someone decides that
only the best will do.
It's always a treat to find a Mopar with great sheetmetal, because
it makes for a terrific canvas to apply an iconic High Impact
color. And arguably there's nothing bolder than Sublime Green. The
electric shine accents the details like the scalloped hood,
simulated vents on the doors, flying buttress C-pillar, and the
spoiler that's built in the rear deck. Plus, the bumblebee stripe
in the rear draws even more attention as it's finished in a
reflective silver. And the HEMI callouts on the hood coordinate to
really deliver a organized package that looks like it could glow in
the dark! This very bold car has an intimidating look on everything
from the hood pins to the extra wide rear tires. But there's one
place we really know turns up the aggression. The wraparound chrome
front bumper draws extra attention to the recessed front end that
looks like it will inhale anything that gets in its way.
The Charger's interior was a nice blend of luxury and performance,
and this one has been given the right investments and preservation
to present it all in great vintage style. Deep, dark seats look
great against the bold exterior green, and there's plenty of room
in the back to share this atmosphere with family and friends. Up
front, there are bucket seats with the iconic pistol-grip shifter
coming out of the center console. Everything has that great classic
feel, from the premium wood-like trim, to the AM radio that's still
on display. In fact, the only modern addition you may notice is the
shift light in front of the full Rallye gauge package. It's a nice
addition to go with the monster under the hood.
The engine bay is just as fresh as the rest of this coupe.
Everything, right down to the wires, tells you this was a
thoughtful build. And the bold green is accented by a bolder
orange. Everyone will take note of the big air topper, but the 425
HEMI callout is a bit of a fib... that's because you're looking at
something even more monstrous. This is 528 cubic-inch HEMI with
aluminum heads. More than just displacement, this one has dual
four-barrel carburetors on top to really let the big V8 inhale
deeply. And the long tube headers add even more power while
contributing to the growl of the X-pipe dual exhaust. Best of all,
you get the best control over the huge power and its thunderous
soundtrack with the Tremec five-speed manual transmission. In fact,
control is a central theme to this car's upgrades. That's why you
have Firm Feel sway bars front & rear, traction bars, power
steering, and the superior stopping power of four-wheel disc
brakes.
Everything is clean on this Charger, right down to the
undercarriage. So this rare opportunity on a Mopar that was built
to win awards and eat the streets. Don't miss out, call today!
