Vehicle Description
This 1972 Chevrolet C10 is a cool patina pickup. But don't let the
workman attitude fool you, because there's serious small block
power lurking beneath that hardy sheetmetal.
It's hard not to love the look of patina on a pickup. After all, it
instantly gives this the appearance of what these trucks were meant
to do: survive for generations. This is actually a well-engineered
look that not only has a carefully faded green, but also a weather
grille surround and a windshield frosted around the edges. And then
you start to see the straightness of the panels, and the
completeness of the full-length trim on this short bed pickup. It
starts to reveal the true solid nature of this C10.
Inside is more of the carefully-crafted classic attitude. We
especially like it on the western-style pattern on the door panels
and seat. These were for the premium C10s back in the day, and you
can tell they invested in fresher updates for these important
pieces. In fact, you get the full classic presentation, right down
to the AM radio that's still on display. And the dual-spoke
steering wheel has that unmistakable grippy feeling that seems to
have been lost over the decades.
Your first look under the hood shows more of this worn-in honesty
on the inner fender walls. But then you start to notice the bright
heart in the middle, and there's no mistaking the extra flair when
someone invests nicely in the motor. This 350 cubic-inch V8 inhales
deeply with a Holley QFT four-barrel carburetor and performance
intake. And the headers let this exhale with authority as they add
power while feeding the dual exhaust. It's a pickup with some extra
power for the streets, and so you'll appreciate good driving
features, like power steering, a three-speed automatic
transmission, and power brakes w/discs up front. And don't forget
about the C10's trailing arm rear suspension that make these great
on the road.
This truck has a cool patina look and an extra powerful heart. That
makes for a terrific classic pickup. Call today!!!
