1946 Ford Business ("short door") Coupe: Flat-8. This is a nice solid car that could be easily restored to completely stock or, could be the starting point for a street rod. The original 59AB flathead engine is in good condition, starts, runs and, uses no oil. It does have the typical small oil leak from the front seal/breather. The original 3 speed transmission has been recently rebuilt with new synchro's and bearings sourced from Mac Van Pelt. A new clutch, pressure plate and, throwout bearing were installed. The engine has had Fenton cast iron headers installed in order to fit a dual exhaust system. It has a 6 volt positive ground electrical system (stock) with Pertronix ignition in the otherwise stock distributor. It has a Powergen 6 volt alternator. New spark plug wires. Four new Coker wide white radial tires. A LeBaron Bonney interior that has been installed over Dynamat. The car has two seats: One seat is the LeBaron Bonney cloth and the other is a black Naugahyde roll and pleat. You get both seats. I have a good 12V generator and matching voltage regulator if you would want to upgrade to 12V. There is little to no rust in the floor boards. There is a perforated rust hole in the drivers side rocker box. Although the paint looks good in the pictures, it is starting to peel in places and, at some point, would want to be repainted. Until then, it is very drive-able.
