Vehicle Description
A car that covers so many markets only comes around so often. That
is what we have in this rare 1967 Sunbeam Tiger MK1A. This
particular Tiger sat in storage for 30 years before going through a
4 year restoration. Powered by a Ford 260 Cu In V8 and backed by a
4 speed manual transmission. The red exterior is in excellent
condition. The black convertible top is in excellent condition. The
black leather interior is also in very good condition. This Tiger
is very sound mechanically. It runs and drives just as a 1967
Sunbeam Tiger should. The Sunbeam Tiger was produced from 1964
through 1967. There was only just over 7000 examples produced
during that time frame. The Ford drive trains were used because of
the direction provided from Carroll Shelby. Most of the examples
were the MK1A powered by the Ford 260 V8, with only 600 MK2 powered
by the Ford 289 V8. You will see the Chrysler emblem on the front
right fender of this very nice and correct 1967 Sunbeam Tiger,,
which is there due to Sunbeam being owned by Chrysler during its
last year of production for the Tiger. Here is an opportunity to
own a rare original piece of automotive history.
