For sale 1955 Buick Special. Running and drives good with 264 Nailhead V8 and automatic transmission under the hood. Body is very straight and all chrome is in very good condition inside and out, only rear bumper and trunk lid has some rust, see pics. Nothing wrong with suspension other than being old and needs some help like shocks and a few bushings. Braking system has solid pedal and does stop like it should. Everything is original, and even the foot starter still works. Interior is in good shape. The seats have been restored using most of the original material. You can see in the pictures the light green is new and dark green is original. The back seat needs to be repaired at top see pictures. Headliner and carpet has been replaced about 20 years ago. Front and back heaters have been disconnected when I got this, but are not missing, but not sure if leaks or not. The exterior paint was repainted about 20 years ago and looks fair, but it does need to be repainted. I got this from my dad thinking I was going to convert it to a classic race car, but after 10 years sitting in my driveway I figured this isn’t going to happen. I also forgot to mention that the trunk is filled with spare parts that has been collected over the years including an extra radio.
