Vehicle Description
This 1970 Chevrolet C10 Custom has the instant appeal of a long bed
classic pickup, but there's also something more here. Maybe it's
the shimmering paint, or the rumble of the exhaust, but you just
know it's the kind of vehicle that gets attention without being
obvious about it.
The two-tone green and white has all the right premium pickup looks
from the era, but you can also tell that this has a modern radiance
the factory could never deliver. It fits in with the old-school
truck scene, but it also really pops in the sunlight and catches
the neon lights perfectly when you're out cruising on a Saturday
night. The American Racing Outlaw wheels are a particularly nice
addition because the high-polish look goes nice with the
mirror-like chrome bumpers. But the part we probably like the most
is the C10's premium wood-like trim that looks great sunning the
full length and on the tailgate. And as good as this looks, we also
want a long bed pickup that's ready to work. So the liner paint on
the bed floor means this one still knows how to pull real truck
duty.
Inside is more of that great classic pickup feeling, but as you dig
deeper, you also find some nice features. Some of them are
thoughtful classic details, like the door panels with the wood-like
inserts and western-style pattern. Other pieces are well-integrated
upgrades, like the comfy cloth inserts in the bench seat and the
retro-style AM/FM/cassette stereo. And when you love a classic
pickup, nothing quite beats the old-school feeling of a column
manual shift.
The 350 cubic-inch small-block V8 looks quite nice in the engine
bay. It's a 1970-correct block, and it has a natural look, right
down to the decals. And they invested in this one properly with
newer elements, like the alternator, belts, and master cylinder.
But what you'll really like is the extra kick of a hidden
performance secret. The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel
carburetor, and it exhales with authority as Hooker long tube
headers add power while contributing to the rumble of the H-pipe
dual exhaust. The three-speed manual transmission gives you nice
control over the motor. Plus, you have power brakes and the C10's
desirable trailing arm rear suspension to make this feel good out
on the road.
This is the chiseled good looks of a classic C10 long bed with
extra flash and substance added. That makes for a great total
package. Call today!!!
