1965 FORD GALAXIE 500 4DR, 39.900 ORIGINAL MILES.
MR Forrest Johnston in Toledo, Ohio bought this 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 4dr from Tri Motors Sales for $3119.64 in 1965.
The first thing he had done was to get seat covers installed over the front and rear seats and he also covered the new carpet, and the covers are still there, protecting the new looking original carpet and original seat cover.
When Forrest passed away his brother kept the Ford and today his grand daughter owns the car. It has 39.900 original miles on it right now.
The car was ordered in a beautiful Twilight Turcoise with an interior in the same beautiful color.
He also got the 289 V8, Cruise O Matic transmission, Power Steering and Power Brakes, Padded dash, tinted glass and AM radio.
The Ford is still in 100% original condition. The paint shows some aging and there’s very, very little rust creeping out by the base of the left side front wheel arch molding, no holes just surface rust.
The interior looks new still. Original mechanical condition.
The Ford is ready to go again as you see it.
