The CJ Jeep began its history with the WWII Jeep which was first
produced in 1945 for civilian production. The CJ6 model began
production in 1955 and was sold as a 1956 model. Most CJ6 models
were sold to South America and Sweden. Only 50,172 models were
produced by the time the series went out of production in 1981.
President Ronald Reagan owned a CJ6 and used it on his ranch in
California.This 1973 Jeep CJ6 was purchased new in Charlotte NC in
1973. It has remained with the same family since then. The exterior
is white and the paint is good. This Jeep is very solid especially
compared to most, and presents very well.The top is in very good
condition. All components are original except for the choke which
was added for an easier start. Seats are black and in excellent
shape. The dash is painted the same as the exterior.Engine is the 6
cylinder 232 cid with the Toledo 3 speed manual transmission. Total
miles are 98.052 original miles.This 1973 Jeep CJ6 is documented
with the original title, owners manual and service records. It is
