This 1929 Bonneville Race Car has a 1929 Ford Polyform fiberglass reproduction body, steel hood and a shortened 32 Ford grill shell, all on a 124 inch wheel base chassis. Power is provided by a 468 cu. in. big block Chevy 4 bolt main engine, AFR aluminum heads with Hillborn injection and blows out 850 HP on methanol fuel……WHAT THE HELL!!!! Lenco 3-speed semi-automatic trans (with safety blanket) and Hayes dual disk clutch. It has a 4” dropped front axle with transverse leaf spring and rack and pinion steering to keep you on the straight and narrow. A Ford 9 inch rear (2.50 final drive ratio) with 31 spline axles, 4 bar rear with coil springs and adjustable radius rods brings up the rear. Wilwood disc brakes that will stop you on a quarter after you are done blowing away the competition! Chassis has been approved by the SCTA.
