Vehicle Description
This 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS has been given a ton of upgrade to
be a true Bumblebee tribute. And while you're enjoying custom
details like the electric paint and awesome leather interior, don't
forget that there is a 400 horsepower superhero within the engine
bay.
This Camaro was ordered by a true enthusiast. There's a custom hood
plaque commemorating it was part of the part of the early orders
(March 2008) and delivered in May 2009. And so it's one of the
first 5,000 cars when the Camaro name was resurrected for the fifth
generation. That makes it quite special even before you start to
look at the full upgraded package. To be a true Bumblebee, this
needs to stand out above the crowd. That's why it has been given
House of Kolor Sunrise Gold with an outstanding pearl coat on top
to make this one radiate every time the sunshine finds the
sheetmetal. And speaking of the body panels, they have the
straightness that tells you this Camaro has lived a well-respaced
life so far. This coupe has a terrific dark side with a blacked-out
front, blackout taillights, and the iconic dual stripes on top of
the yellow. Plus, this reminds everyone that it's a Bumblebee with
Transformer badging on 20-inch alloys, the sides, and the Chevy bow
ties front and rear.
Chevrolet didn't offer a yellow trim package when they re-debuted
the Camaro name for 2010, and so one had to be created for this
custom machine. Those yellow and black seats are a unique creation
finished in a supple leather. The two-tone continues to intertwine
on the door panels and dash to deliver a terrific look. And you'll
love the detail work, like the Transformers logo in the headrest,
horn cap, and the special light up one in the cup holder. Beyond
the custom details, you also have a loaded machine. This means a
comfortable coupe with power windows, power sunroof, power locks,
keyless entry/alarm, cruise control, and ice-cold air conditioning.
The stereo is a premium AM/FM/CD unit with connections for
satellite radio and Bluetooth, and there's an upgraded subwoofer
speaker system. The retro part of this car comes into play with
cool throwback features like the deeply recessed speedo and tach
directly in front of you, and the auxiliary gauge quad-pack built
into the center console. But while it looks retro, this also got
the latest in safety, so you have anti-lock brakes, front air bags,
and side airbags. There's even a backup camera and a head-up
display.
While this car has been custom built to be a superhero, one of the
reasons it truly lives up to its superior status is what Chevy used
for the Camaro's comeback. The fuel-injected 6.2-liter L99 V8 under
the hood is the numbers-matching motor, and it looks fantastic in
the engine bay. The bold yellow details and polished components
remind you that the whole car is ready to show off. And the cold
air intake adds even more power to the already impressive 400 hp
rating from the factory. This combines with a six-speed automatic
transmission, so it has the ability to be everything from a true
tire-burning Camaro, to a sensible overdrive cruiser. And don't
forget, this is the first Camaro with a fully independent
suspension. So we know you won't be able to resist adding miles to
this cool custom. Plus, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and
modern performance tires means this is a total package that will
feel great on any road.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker, owner's
manual, and build receipts. This is a very cool Bumblebee that has
been given all the right investments to get plenty of attention.
