grand tourer automobile developed by Mercedes-AMG to replace the
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, and is powered by a hand-built
583-horsepower, 6.3-liter V8 by Mercedes-AMG. Standard transmission
is AMG SPEEDSHIFT semi-automatic transmission through a lightweight
carbon fiber driveshaft in a transaxle arrangement. Selectable
driving modes include "C" (Controlled Efficiency), "S" (Sport),
"S+" (Sport plus) or "M" (Manual). The SLS AMG GT is equipped with
Compound Disc Brakes with 6-Piston in the Front and 4-Piston in the
Rear. The SLS AMG's newly developed aluminum bodyshell comprises an
aluminum spaceframe that helps keep the supercar's weight low.The
SLS AMG GT is also equipped with light alloy wheels shod in 19 Inch
