This 1971 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a numbers-matching 454ci
LS5 V8 paired with a four-speed Muncie transmission and has been
refinished in its original color of Mille Miglia Red(Code 973) over
a black leather interior. Factory equipment includes T-top roof
panels, air conditioning, power windows and power-assisted disc
brakes. The fiberglass body was refinished in its original Mille
Miglia Red in 1998. Exterior features include body-colored T-top
panels, chrome front and rear bumpers, and bright windshield frame
and rocker panel trim. Chevrolet Rallye wheels wear polished trim
rings and are fitted with 15 inch BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The
car is equipped with power-assisted steering and four-wheel disc
brakes. The Deluxe interior is trimmed in black leather and
features a Delco AM/FM radio, fiber optic lighting indicators, air
conditioning, a tilting and telescoping steering column, and power
windows. The 454ci LS5 V8 was tuned up in March 2019 with a new
distributor cap, rotor button, ignition condenser, breaker points,
and spark plugs. The cooling system was also flushed. The power
steering pump was rebuilt and new hoses installed in 2018, and the
air conditioning compressor has been replaced. Engine number
S116645 matches the last six digits of the VIN, while the suffix
CPH indicates a 454 with 365 horsepower and a manual transmission.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed Muncie M21
manual transmission, which was rebuilt in 2016. Please contact
