Vehicle Description
The 2008 Pontiac G8 GT brought back the heritage of powerful V8
Pontiac performance sedans. Unfortunately that legacy was cut short
with only a short production run. So now is rare opportunity at a
low-mileage instant classic that is loaded with all the best modern
features, including a fuel-injected 361 hp motor.
This is the debut year for the Pontiac G8, and they really got the
design right from day one. The moment it hit the scene we all know
it was a built for performance. Twin hood scoops, fender vents, and
a body kit direct from the factory give this the look of a Trans Am
or Formula Firebird. So this kind of aggression looks terrific
finished in black. In fact, this color is Panther Black, so it has
a nice metallic element. And because this is a low-mileage
one-owner car, it has been treated with the kind of respect where
this factory paint retains its showroom level of shine. And while
you love the black for its intimidation factor (even the windows
are tinted dark,) we also know you love how it makes for the
perfect backdrop to really showcase the metallic orange stipe
package on the front and rear.
Inside is the factory black interior. Low mileage means little seat
time, and we all know factory full black (inside and out) cars are
quite valuable on the classic car market. That makes this even more
desirable as an instantly classic Pontiac. So it's also nice that
this has the optional premium package with leather seats, and the
front ones not only power adjust, but are heated, too. Plus, you
have all the best modern features, including dual zone automatic
climate control, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, dual
airbags, cruise control, and a premium Blaupunkt stereo system.
This has the kind of space to be the family car. But once you grip
the leather-wrapped sports steering wheel, and see those crisp
gauges dance, you realize this sensible sedan is a pure driver's
machine.
Under the hood is what makes the GT version so special. The
LS-based 6.0-liter V8 is a true modern marvel of power and
smoothness. It's basically the motor of the Corvette and the GTO,
but with some modifications for better fuel economy when you're not
taking full advantage of the 361 horsepower fuel-injected
powerhouse. In fact, the six-speed automatic transmission helps
with this by having enough gears to balance overdrive cruising and
speedy getaways. Power steering, four-wheel disc brakes (w/ABS), a
fully independent suspension, and Goodyear Eagle RS-A tire on the
factory 18-inch wheels complete this modern package for serious
drivers.
Because this car is a true collectible, it also comes with the
right paperwork, including the original window sticker, owner's
manual, and maintenance records. This is the car that drives like a
BMW but gets respected like a GTO. So you may never find another
one so well-done and so affordable ever again. Call today!!!
